Ingame the RPK is shown as an accurate, portable, machine gun capable of laying down suppressive fire on its targets. The RPK features medium-high weapon recoil. It equips a 40 round magazine by default, but can be upgraded to use 75 round drum mags instead. It fires at a low 600 rounds-per-minute and deals out fairly high damage at 45-25. It features high bullet penetration and shares ammunition with many of the other assault rifles and machine guns. It appears used by many of the UMEF factions, along with several of the World Socialist Coalition's Militaries.

There are several variations of the weapon used by various armies.
RPK - Regular version, used by Militaries of Cuba, and Korea, along with Ultranationalist force
A RPKM machine gun as is used by Russian and Venezuelan troops.

RPKS - Folding stock variant with some modernizations, used by the Russian VDV and UMEF SF.
RPKM - Modernized variant, used by the Militaries of the Russian Federation, Venezuela, along with some Ultranationalist forces.
Zastava M72B1 - Serbian production variant, used by the Serbian Armed Forces.
