The BTR-90 is an 8x8 wheeled Armored Personel Carrier (APC), produced in limited numbers in the Russian Federation.
Overview
The BTR-90 appears on multiple engagements being used by the Russian Army, MVD, and Spetsnaz. The BTR-90 is amphibious and is capable of achieving high speeds on various roads. The BTR features medium armor, and is capable of transporting four passengers, two of which can use firing ports on the side of the vehicle and one in the rear of the BTR. The BTR-90 is armed with a 2A42 30mm Autocannon, a coaxil PKT, a 30mm AGS-17D Grenade launcher, and an AT-5 ATGM.
