The BM-21 "Grad" is a Soviet/Russian-Built Multiple Rocket Launcher System (MRLS).

Modern Combat[]

Ingame the BM-21 appears in the campaign once, where they are an objective for the player to destroy. They appear in several other levels as unusable non-interactive scenery, often times they are destroyed.

In multiplayer, the BM-21 appears commonly as destroyed scenery. On the maps Assault Over the Rhine and Battle for Anchorage, the Russian Army uses the BM-21, while on Miami Assault the Cuban Army operates the BM-21, and the HIE uses them on Defence of Damascus, Assault on Leninabad, and Operation Torch-Purging. The BM-21 fires powerful missiles, but is suffers from heavy recoil and has an extremely long reload time of ten seconds.

Global Conquest[]

Ingame the BM-21 Grad appears being usable by the Russian Army, the Cuban and Korean Armies, and the U.M.E.F. factions. It fires powerful missiles at its targets and is powerful against anything on the ground, but it cannot engage targets that are close to it. The BM-21 cannot engage aircraft either.
